Reinhard Zachau

Reinhard K. Zachau (Ph.D., University of Pittsburgh) is Professor of German at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. His publications include books on Stefan Heym (1982, 2002, with Peter Hutchinson), Hans Fallada (1990, 1998, 2000), Heinrich Böll (1994), Wolfgang Koeppen’s adaptation of Jakob Littner’s holocaust memoir (English version 2000, with Kurt Grübler; German version 2002, with Roland Ulrich), and an introduction to German film (2005, with Robert Reimer).  Zachau’s latest book is an edited collection of essay’s on Berlin’s modernism (Topography and Literature, 2009) and an anthology of Berlin Literature (Berliner Spaziergänge, 2009).
