Katherine Tubb

PhD Student, University of Glasgow

Having previously worked at the Kelvingrove Museum and Galleries on its restoration in 2006, and with Edinburgh auctioneers Lyon and Turnbull, I am currently in the final year of my PhD with the Department of History of Art at the University of Glasgow, where I am studying the life and work of Marta Astfalck-Vietz, a photographer and social activist based in Berlin during the Weimar era. At the moment I am working to organise the first solo exhibition of her work outside Germany, which I hope will begin in Glasgow in 2012/13.
